The 2016 National MS Society and Can Do MS Webinar & Telelearning Series brings together a collaboration of MS experts to help you learn strategies to live your best life with MS. Recordings are available afterwards if you're unable to attend live.

You and a guest are invited to join us Friday, Nov. 18 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the National MS Society office in Albuquerque (3540 Pan American Fwy. NE, Suite F) for "Quiz the MS Expert!" Dr. Ted Phillips, founder of MS Clincis and Research Centers, invites you to actively participate in this open question and answers forum regarding the latest in MS research and treatments. Registration is FREE and seating is limited, so register right away. Light refreshments will be served.

NOVEMBER DISCUSSION OF THE MONTH: CAREGIVERS
Living life with MS is better with support from friends, family, neighbors and healthcare professionals. This month, in honor of National Family Caregivers Month, we invite you to join us for a conversation honoring MS carepartners. Tell us what you value the most from your carepartner. And if you're a carepartner, what advice can you share with people who may be new to the role of a carepartner? Join the discussion.


NIH RESEARCHER RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS BARANCIK PRIZE FOR INNOVATION IN MS RESEARCH
Daniel Reich, M.D., Ph.D., was recognized for his innovative ways of looking at the brain to advance knowledge of MS.

The International Consortium of MS Genetics has identified 200 genetic variations associated with MS, providing new leads to understanding how genes and other factors combine to make people susceptible to getting multiple sclerosis. These findings were made possible by the combined efforts of the consortium members, who were able to analyze data from more than 100,000 people. Click here to read more.
