ON THE MOVE LUNCHEON The Dallas On the Move Luncheon celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Ritz-Carlton Friday, Oct. 14 with 250 guests in attendance. The event was co-chaired by father-daughter duo Dr. Philip Raskin and Robbin Raskin Solis, and included keynote speakers Dan and Jennifer Digmann, a couple living with MS from Michigan. The program honored Jamie Benn, captain of the Dallas Stars, as the Person On the Move, and Kendra Scott as the Company On the Move. The event raised more than $112,000.

NIH RESEARCHER RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS BARANCIK PRIZE FOR INNOVATION IN MS RESEARCH Daniel Reich, M.D., Ph.D., was recognized for his innovative ways of looking at the brain to advance knowledge of MS.
The International Consortium of MS Genetics has identified 200 genetic variations associated with MS, providing new leads to understanding how genes and other factors combine to make people susceptible to getting multiple sclerosis. These findings were made possible by the combined efforts of the consortium members, who were able to analyze data from more than 100,000 people. Click here to read more.
