Achieve Your Goals in 2014!

 Decisions

Whatever situations you are facing in life, the National MS Society is a resource available to you, especially when it comes to achieving employment, career, financial and personal goals.

The South Central Region is pleased to offer Professional Career and Life Coaching to people living with MS who want to learn how to manage stress and energy in their current job, want to change career goals or improve current employment circumstances, or want to understand how and when to talk to their employers about MS. Our coaches are qualified individuals living with MS who understand the physical and cognitive challenges you face. Working one-on-one over the phone with a coach can help you take effective, focused actions to achieve balance between work, life and MS symptoms.

Additionally, the Society offers a Financial Planning Program. It's never too early to begin planning financially for the future - evaluating your income, assets, debts, benefits, and other resources is essential to being well-prepared for a future with MS. Financial Service Professional (FSP) volunteers provide pro bono financial planning and education over the phone to people living with MS and their families. Learn about basic budgeting, savings vehicles, insurance analysis and claims assistance, employee benefits analysis, retirement planning, estate planning, and legal planning.

To learn more about either of these programs, please visit our website or contact Susan LaCombe at 469-619-4711.
