CAN DO MS MONTHLY WEBINAR: MIND OVER BRAIN - ADDRESSING THE LANGUAGE AND COGNITIVE CHALLENGES OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
 Many people with MS notice changes in their abilities to remember, pay attention, organize and communicate. This webinar will address the frustrating, yet often invisible, language and cognitive symptoms of MS. Join Janet DeClark, Speech/Language Pathologist, and Juliann Hanson-Zlatev, Occupational Therapist, as they discuss the most common cognitive and linguistic challenges people with MS face while offering functional, concrete strategies to tackle those hurdles successfully. SEX ED FOR GROWNUPS INTIMACY IN MS
MS can certainly change a romantic relationship. Learn from Dr. Timothy Hlavinka and Dr. Linda Mona how to maintain or build intimacy now that MS is in the picture. Register now for the call on May 19 at 6 p.m. CST or May 21 at 9 p.m. CST.

CAN YOU STEP UP TO SUPPORT OUR SELF-HELP GROUPS?
Established Self-Help Groups in Bryan/College Station and Lubbock are in need of leadership support and assistance. Self-Help Groups generally meet once per month. Leader responsibilities include securing meeting locations, arranging for speakers or meeting agendas, and communicating with Self-Help Group members. If you would like to learn more about volunteering, please contact Amy Woolsey, 713-394-2930. Self-Help Groups are vital community connections for persons living with MS and volunteer leadership is personally rewarding. Training provided.
