BE INSPIRED AT THIS YEAR'S DALLAS ON THE MOVE LUNCHEON, NOV. 13
The National MS Society will host the 9th Annual Dallas On the Move Luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas on Friday, November 13 from 11:00am-1:00pm. The annual luncheon, which raises funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis, will feature Keynote Speaker Jason DaSilva, Emmy Award winning artist and filmmaker who at the age of 25 was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This year’s emcee for the event will be Kate Milliken, founder of MyCounterpane.com and host of MS Learn Online. Buy your tickets today


CONVERSATIONS WITH ANN ROMNEY 
Ann Romney's own experience living with MS has helped bring understanding about an unpredictable, chronic disease that has as many different faces and stories as the people living with it. SOCIETY LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE 
Fort Worth, TX is proud to again host the Society Leadership Conference, November 5-7, 2015. This annual opportunity brings together volunteers from across the country to celebrate, inspire, educate, and share so we are equipped for the important work still ahead to create a world free of MS. Conference activities include general sessions and workshops, breakout sessions designed to connect volunteers around fundraising and meeting the needs of people living with MS, and an opportunity to hear from organizational leaders, including Society CEO Cyndi Zagieboylo. SAN ANTONIO EDUCATION PROGRAM
Registration is now open for a free JUMPSTART Program in San Antonio, TX on Nov. 7, with Can Do MS! It’s an educational and interactive program for people with MS and their support partners. Space is limited; learn more and register today!

EFFECTS OF MS ON EMPLOYMENT
If you live with MS or care for someone who does, the MS community needs to hear from you. This short survey will help us better understand how MS affects employment around the world. Results will be included in a report for World MS Day 2016 and will help us increase awareness and communicate with legislators and employers about how they can help people living with MS to remain in the workforce. DISCUSSION OF THE MONTH: DEPRESSION IN MS 
Depression is not a sign of personal weakness. It is a significant, potentially life-threatening, symptom of MS that interferes with function and quality of life and makes other MS symptoms feel worse.
